STUPID Citibank Wants to pay Staff Bonuses

For a bank that cant manage itself properly and after having taken lots of money from the US government, Citibank has the cheek to ask the US government for permission to pay some staff bonuses.

What the fuck?
Citibank

How stupid does Citibank think the public is?

Citibank states that if they do not pay their staff bonuses, these people wil leave.

LEAVE? So be it. As long as Citibank takes government money, they should stop paying people bonuses - which are other people's hard earned tax money!

Thank God I am not a Citibank customer. I never knew their management can stoop so low.

Such fucking morons.

Swine Flu Bug - The Origin of It?

If you sell crack, join a gang, or rob the mob you can expect to die a violent death, but if you listen to your mother, eat all the right foods, and study hard in college to become a microbiologist, you should expect to live to a ripe old age and die peacefully.

That being the case, a few eyebrows were raised when five microbiologists either disappeared or died mysteriously violent deaths in 2001. A short time later the number rose to 19, and then 29.

They were found stabbed to death in the trunks of cars, thrown off bridges, or they wrapped their cars around trees after their brake fluid disappeared. Once again, this is the stuff of Hollywood spy stories, and not the way you would expect a microbiologist to give up the ghost.

By 2005, we lost 40 micro-biologists in less than 4 years, all under suspicious circumstances, and during this time someone discovered that they were all working for the government, or government contractors, on projects related to bio-terrorism, flu pandemics, or anthrax. Obviously they weren't trying to find a cure for anything, or there would be no need to silence them.

Susan Boyle in 2 Points

Watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY

Let this be a reminder of two things:

1. Never judge a book by its cover

2. Never give up on your dreams!

By Hannah Yeoh

So many people have been telling me just how frustrated they are with the current political situation in our country. Some have told me that they regretted voting for change because of the political instability now and would prefer returning to their old style of voting - vote for stability and forget about having a stronger opposition and greater check and balance. I shudder at the thought of this!

One needs to remember the reason why we are  seeing such great resistance for change is simply because there is much to lose for those who have been in power for so long. For decades there has been so much abuse of power,
unchecked misuse of public funds and plain dirty corruption. With a stronger opposition now, they stand to lose their  illegal sources of income and some may even be charged and sent to prison if they are found guilty. With this in mind, they will fight at all costs to  reclaim back power and to ensure they can continue to steal public funds from the people for their own enrichment. We are not just dealing with differences in politics; we are combating evil forces who will not rest till they secure back their powers and illegal sources of income.

Sometimes I feel equally frustrated and disillusioned about  the political situation too. Sometimes I lie awake thinking of how to effect change in this land. Some days I cry while driving in between meetings thinking of what's left for the future generation in this land if we give up now. I have endured much verbal attack from political enemies, accusation after accusation of me not doing anything for my constituents and etc. No one truly understands the resistance we face daily in discharging our duties except for my fellow PR assemblymen.

Robert Kennedy once said "Progress is a nice word. But change is its motivator and change has its enemies." Our enemies are resisting change but we must stand firm and continue to push for a competent, accountable and transparent government. At the end of each day, as I lay myself to sleep, I ask God for strength, wisdom and protection to face the next. I look forward to the end of the term when I can tell the people of Subang Jaya that I have remained clean and have not stolen any of the taxpayers' funds.

As reminded by Raja Petra in his blog "Please continue your struggle to make Malaysia a better place for our future generation. This country belongs to them and it is for them that we struggle."

All hope is not lost. Come the next election, vote out the corrupt once and for all. Hang in there supporters and friends, the best is yet to come!

Yahoo! Losing Market Share - I Am Not Surprised!

I am a little surprised at Wall Street Journal's article on Yahoo losing it market share in online searches. The results Yahoo returns are not as good when compared to Google but definitely much better than Microsoft's Live Search, which I consider to be the worst search engine you can ever use.

If you dont believe me, try searching for the same query in all three search engines and let me know which gives you the closest results that you were expecting. Try not to be bias towards the one you like. Let this be an honest exercise in finding out which search engine is reliable.

Beware of Fraudulent SMS and Telephone Calls Requesting Confirmation on Credit Card Transactions

Bank Negara Malaysia would like to caution members of the public to be vigilant when receiving any calls or SMS claiming that it is from Bank Negara Malaysia or any commercial banks.

The facts are:

There is no department called "Unit Kad Kredit Palsu" in Bank Negara Malaysia.

8659-XXXX is not a Bank Negara Malaysia telephone line.

Bank Negara Malaysia will NEVER request for personal banking information through SMS or telephone calls.

Based on recent complaints received by Bank Negara Malaysia , there has been an increase in incidents of fraudsters making such calls and sending SMS to unknowing members of the public in order to fraudulently obtain their personal banking information, with the aim of siphoning monies from one's account.

From Bank Negara Malaysia's investigations, the modus operandi of the scam is as follows:

Victim receives SMS or telephone call requesting victim to confirm a credit card transaction for the purchase of goods or services purportedly charged to the victim's credit card.

When victim calls the telephone number provided in the SMS, the fraudsters identify themselves as agents of a commercial bank, and again, ask the victim to confirm whether the credit card transaction had taken place.

When victim informs the fraudster that he has no such credit card or transaction, the fraudster will start to sound concerned and will advise victim to lodge a report with Bank Negara Malaysia 's "Unit Kad Kredit Palsu", or with the commercial bank's "credit card management department". The fraudster will provide the victim with the telephone number for the "Unit Kad Kredit Palsu".

When victim calls the telephone number provided, they are greeted by a automated voice message which identifies the company as Bank Negara Malaysia, and the call will then be answered by someone claiming to be a Bank Negara Malaysia officer. This officer will request for information relating to the victim's banking and credit card accounts under the pretense of lodging a complaint on behalf of the victim. The fraudsters now have sufficient information to illegally transfer funds out of the victim's bank account.

Members of the public are reminded not to disclose their personal banking information to any unknown party without verification.

Michael Jackson is Aging...

Rod Stewart Sucks...

Rod Stewart shares an intimate moment with wife Penny Lancaster while sailing in The Mediterranean.

Owen and Hilton

Poor Michael Owen, still pondering over his future at Newcastle, playing for relegation threatened teams. If only he had stood by Liverpool when the team needed his most, he would be firing on all cyclinders now, leading them to glory over Manchester United. But, alas, greedy Owen who thought he was too big for the club and wanted glory, left Liverpool searching for trophies and never got one ever since. I will never forgive you for leaving my beloved Liverpool in their times of need. You now are getting what you truly deserve - second rate teams.

On the other hand, Paris Hilton is doing what she does well, performing a sizzling routine in a nightclub. Can you imagine the grandchild of the wealthy Hilton family resorting to such jobs - its not hard and yet understandable when one doesnt have the brains to run a business. Oh well, she does look good, doesnt she? You should have seen her in her homemade little porno movie - awesome.

Wet, Wet Morning.

It's a wet, wet morning in Kuala Lumpur today. And in this traffic, some idiot in the white van is blowing his horn! One if the many stupid Malaysians that I have to share my living space with.

The only thing that is making the traffic move is the poor traffic policemen that man's the major junctions.
