Probably the worst KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) drive through outlet has to be the one at Metro Prima, Kepong. Try getting your food during dinner time and the queues can take as long as 40 minutes!! What's this for service?? When everyone else is improving their service, its pretty obvious that KFC or this particular outlet isnt keen on doing so.
The same can be said for the McDonalds in Taman Melati, at the Petronas gas station and the one at Ampang Park. Expect inefficient service at both restaurents during peak hours.
Now the good.
Have you tried the sandwich meal at Dunkin Donuts? No, they dont serve you different types of donuts but they actually have a meal set consisting of a drink (coffee or a cold drink), a donut and a big sandwich (wholemeal or white bread). Isnt that cool or what? It'll cost you around RM11.80 after taxes and guess what, it will not make you sleepy after lunch!
Now, the very best.
The very best would definitely have to be banana leave lunch at any authentic Indian store. And that excludes all the fancy places that all these white people go to like Bombay Palace, Passage Through India and all those. Wherever you see a a white person enjoying Indian food, stay away from that place. Go to an Indian store where you see Malaysians. you'll enjoy better tasting food at a much lower price. Those high class restaurents serve tasteless food to ignorant foreigners who still manage a big, hearty smile after dinner thinking that they had authentic Indian food. Such ignorance.
