Flood, Flood, Flood in Kuala Lumpur

For a city, Kuala Lumpur sure has a disgraceful reputation. For once, its becoming unsafe - crime is rising although the authorities are saying everything is well in order.

Secondly, the traffic in KL is getting worst. What used to be a 45 minute drive to work now takes me a full 90 minutes!

Lastly, heavy rain causes traffic to come to a grinding halt in the city. Even with the so called advance Smart Tunnel system to drain the water out of the city, it still floods in KL.

Watch the video in this blog post to know the extent of the flood. On normal days, you can hardly see the water at all but today, water nearly overflowed from the river.
