Citibank Hypocrites

Citibank - what a bunch of hypocrites. Despite losing potentially billions of dollars, they had the cheek to issue a forecast on Malaysia's GDP. They put Malaysia's GDP to 0.5% from an earlier estimated growth of 3.5%. And this comes from a company that is nearly bankrupt.

Someone once told me that American is a broke country. It's a country that's being run on debt. And like a house on cards, when it falls, it falls hard. I doubt President Elect Obama can do much, especially when multinational corporations in the US have powers even exceeding that of the US government.

Citibank should be allowed to fall. And the same goes for General Motors and Chrysler. These are companies with poor management and they have to pay the price. Unfortunately, its not the management who suffers since they will still take home a huge severance pay but its the lowly worker who will go home without a safety net.
