Why Do White Educated Americans Hate Obama?

I'm on Twitter and Facebook and part of some internet marketing groups on both sites. I am surprised to find the number of educated, white Americans who hate President-Elect Barak Obama just because he's black. And these are Americans. I wont name names but these are famous Internet marketers. Which makes me wonder that if a superpower country like America still hasnt abolished racism, what can I expect from a primitive country like Malaysia?
